Good day, SayPro family, honoured fathers, colleagues, and friends,
It is both a privilege and a heartfelt honour to stand before you today, as a non-executive member of the SayPro Royal Committee, to celebrate an occasion that touches all of us – Father’s Day 2025.
Today is a special day. A day not just of celebration, but of deep recognition and appreciation. It is a day when we pause to say thank you to the fathers and father figures who have shaped us, supported us, and stood by us, often quietly, always powerfully.
Fatherhood is more than a title – it is a lifelong commitment. A commitment to love, protect, guide, and sometimes sacrifice without expecting anything in return. It is found in the simplest of acts – walking a child to school, sharing advice during tough times, working late to make ends meet, or just being there with quiet strength when words fall short.
At SayPro, we are proud to be part of a movement that values family, growth, mentorship, and leadership. And on days like today, we are reminded that many of these values come from the lessons passed down by fathers – whether by birth, by bond, or by role.
We celebrate every kind of father:
- The biological fathers raising children with love and guidance.
- The stepfathers and guardians who step in and never step back.
- The uncles, brothers, and community leaders who offer wisdom and protection.
- And the fathers we remember with love and honour, whose legacies still shape us.
As a non-executive member, I may not be in the daily operations of SayPro, but I see and deeply appreciate the role of fathers in shaping the leaders of tomorrow – many of whom are part of our programmes, internships, and training initiatives.
To every father in our SayPro community, we want you to know: you matter, your efforts are seen, and your impact is lasting.
May this Father’s Day be a reminder that your love and leadership are priceless gifts that continue to influence generations.
