SayPro Job Description for Ad Performance Analysis Team

Data Analyst Responsibilities:
Track the performance of campaigns in real-time, highlighting any underperforming ads

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Tracking and Monitoring:
    • Track the performance of all digital ads in the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-8 Campaign across multiple channels (social media, search, display, etc.).
    • Monitor real-time campaign performance, ensuring that data is accurately collected and reported for each ad.
    • Highlight any underperforming ads, pinpointing key factors contributing to their lack of success (e.g., low engagement rates, high bounce rates, poor conversion metrics).
  2. Ad Performance Analysis:
    • Analyze the performance data for each ad, evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CTR (click-through rate), CPA (cost per acquisition), conversion rates, ROI (return on investment), and other relevant metrics.
    • Identify trends in ad performance over time and report on any patterns that could indicate issues or opportunities for improvement.
    • Compare performance across different target segments, platforms, and time periods to identify areas for optimization.
  3. Reporting and Insights:
    • Create detailed performance reports for the SayPro Monthly January SCMR-8 Campaign, clearly presenting findings on ad performance.
    • Highlight and summarize key insights and actionable recommendations, particularly for underperforming ads, providing recommendations for optimization (e.g., budget reallocation, targeting adjustments, creative updates).
    • Communicate findings to the team, stakeholders, and management in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Optimization and Recommendations:
    • Propose strategies for optimizing underperforming ads based on data analysis, such as changing targeting parameters, adjusting bidding strategies, or tweaking ad creatives.
    • Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to implement changes and test new approaches.
    • Conduct A/B testing to continuously refine and improve ad performance.
  5. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
    • Collaborate with marketing, creative, and technical teams to ensure that data insights are used to optimize and refine campaigns.
    • Work alongside data engineers or other data analysts to ensure that all tracking pixels, conversion tags, and campaign tracking setups are functioning correctly.
  6. Continuous Learning and Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in digital advertising and data analysis.
    • Regularly propose improvements to internal processes and methodologies for more effective campaign tracking and analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Marketing, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital advertising, data analysis, or a related field.
    • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Excel, or Power BI.
    • Experience with campaign management platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, or similar tools.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
    • Experience with A/B testing and analyzing test results.
    • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data analysis programming languages is a plus.
  • Communication:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to create compelling reports and presentations.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • High attention to detail and accuracy, especially when analyzing large data sets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in data visualization and storytelling with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
  • Familiarity with automated reporting and campaign tracking tools like Zapier or Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience in the e-commerce or digital marketing sector is a plus.
