SayPro Job Description for Ad Performance Analysis Team

Data Analyst Role: Process and present complex ad performance data in a user-friendly format

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Collection and Processing:
    • Collect ad performance data from various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
    • Cleanse and preprocess raw data for analysis, ensuring that data quality is maintained and inconsistencies are addressed.
    • Work with data engineers to automate data collection processes where applicable.
  2. Ad Performance Analysis:
    • Perform in-depth analysis of the January SCMR-8 Campaign data, examining KPIs such as Cost Per Click (CPC), Click-Through Rate (CTR), Conversion Rate (CVR), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and impressions.
    • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the campaign data, and assess how these impact overall campaign success.
    • Segment the analysis by various demographics, regions, and devices to uncover insights specific to different audiences.
  3. Reporting and Visualization:
    • Create comprehensive, user-friendly reports that summarize key findings from the analysis, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and actionable insights.
    • Develop interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio to present ad performance metrics in a visually appealing way.
    • Ensure that reports and dashboards are easily understandable for non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Campaign Optimization Recommendations:
    • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to optimize ad performance for future campaigns.
    • Advise on adjustments to bidding strategies, targeting options, ad creatives, and budget allocation.
    • Collaborate with the Creative and Campaign Management teams to align recommendations with campaign goals.
  5. Ad hoc Analysis and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed to answer specific business questions or address unforeseen challenges.
    • Work closely with the Marketing and Campaign Management teams to ensure that ad performance insights are integrated into campaign strategies.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  6. Continuous Learning and Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to ad performance analysis.
    • Continuously seek ways to improve data analysis techniques and reporting processes to ensure high-quality, efficient outputs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Marketing, Economics, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, specifically in ad performance or digital marketing analytics.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions.
    • Strong experience with SQL or other query languages for data extraction and manipulation.
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other digital advertising platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to identify trends and patterns in data, with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with campaign management tools such as SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with A/B testing and experimentation to optimize ad performance.
  • Familiarity with attribution models and advanced statistical analysis.
